Armatek® Group, through its R&D Department, is conducting a research project and develop a novel method of anchoring reinforcement bars, funded by the Centre for Technological Development (CDTI), an agency from Ministry of Science and Innovation and the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER) under the Technology Fund Operational Programme 2007-2013.

The overall objective for which Armatek invests heavily in R&D is to remain a technological reference and check the state of the art of manufacturing reinforced concrete structures worldwide.

In this case, the project has been considered of social interest, which has led to interest the public administration and, consequently, to cause a public-private financing.
