Diffusion of the advantages of using different Officially Recognized Quality check

The Institute for Certified reinforcement Promotion (IPAC) and the Spanish Institute of Cement and its Applications (IECA) has organized a series of technical conferences to publicize the benefits of using products in possession of a DOR (quality Officially Recognized), which will be held in different cities of the Spanish geography.
Granada and Malaga have been the first two Andalusian cities in which they have presented the benefits of the system of various surveys for the Instruction of Structural Concrete EHE-08.
The Workshop has shown that distinctive system is already a reality in our country, and can be prescribed as early as the design phase, use of materials, products and systems that are in possession of a DOR (quality Officially Recognized) without fear that there are problems in later work to find these supplies.
Juan Carlos Arroyo, Director of Engineering Calter and member of the Association of Independent Consultants Building Structures (ACIES), explained to the audience that from the point of view of the calculation can be reduced without problems, the partial safety factor of steel, from the traditional 1.15 to 1.10, and the conditions to be required by EHE-08 for this: both the corrugated steel as rebar are in possession of a DOR.
In terms of control differences were evaluated involving the system provided by EHE-08 being carried out an economic assessment of the same.
In the case of steel and reinforcement in possession of a DOR, in addition to the security involved in their use, have the distinct advantage of not having to be subjected to acceptance trials (with saving) greatly facilitating the work of implementation and increasing yields of putting in work.
These Days in Andalusia have been sponsored four companies in possession of the AENOR for concrete and rebar, two commodities in any concrete structure: Holcim Concrete, and Mining (Financiera y Minera), and Ferroinsa Armatek (Ferrallas Steels and Industry).
