The College of Engineers of Public Works has prompted the convening of a conference given last December 3, 2009 by Tomas Calleja Féniz, R & D manager, entitled "Reinforcing industrial and construction details" . This conference is included within the activities with engineering schools that are promoting Armatek. Apart from lectures, Armatek organizes visits to industrial plant in Carmarma de Esteruelas (Madrid) and it has launched a final degree award for the best project. The winning project from each school will compete in the inter-university award and it is endowed with 10,000 euros.
