The structures of this stretch are composed of four viaducts (river Cea, Arroyo del Valle, Camino de Santiago and Arroyo del Coso) and a structure type pergola that has been built to save the Camino de Santiago motorway (A-231).
The pergola, insect-like view from the air by the series of columns on which is secured, has a length of more than 152 meters and is linked to other major infrastructure, a viaduct about the same length that saves the Arroyo del Cos.
The construction of the platform section of the river Cea-Bercianos Camino Real has a length of 10.5 kilometres and will be an economic boost to the whole area of Leon.
The river stretch Cea-Bercianos del Real Camino will be the first of the instalments to be made available on this stretch of AVE and open the way to a series of segments that will be opening until summer of next year.
