The work funded entirely by the regional council of Castilla y Leon and will provide to the city of an important work of articulation and communication that will result in improving the mobility of citizens. Zamora will have a new bridge over the Douro River and new roads connecting with roads CL-527 and N-122. The group Armatek participates in the supply, cut & bend and assembly of industrial reinforcements.
It provides the right bank of the Douro river access from the N-122 and Almaraz and along the left margin conditioning Carrascal road linking it with the CL-527 road.
The new road connecting the CL-527 and N-122 has a length of 1.2 kilometers. The road has 7 feet long with two lanes of 3.50 meters and parking strips and sidewalks side of 3 meters. 6 roundabouts are contemplated.
The new bridge over the Douro River has a length of 424.50 meters with 6 spans. In plan, the bridge is curved with a constant radius of 650 meters. The viaduct will consist of a box-shaped parabolic variable edge and an overall width of 14.40 meters. The viaduct will be supported directly in the intermediate cells of 3.20 meters maximum height shall be cemented through piles.
The type section is amended in the section on the bridge so that the roadway will be 8 feet with two lanes of 4 yards and sidewalks on each side side of 3.20 meters.
